Raised in the heart of regional NSW, in the scenic Mudgee region, Luke grew up with old fashioned country values… honesty, integrity and a good work ethic.

After relocating to Sydney, Luke began his career in structural steel, crafting the skeletal frameworks of ambitious architectural builds. This early immersion in steel taught him to think like an engineer, reading the language of load paths, tolerances, and connection details, …a deep understanding of structure now an essential tool in his utility.

With a small jump into carpentry, Luke spent the next 15 years immersed in high end residential construction, collaborating with leading architects and forward thinking builders. His portfolio spans everything from modest timber framed cottages to large scale concrete structures, multi-dwelling developments, and bespoke architectural homes - each one a masterclass in precision, proportion and performance.

Now proudly calling the Central Coast home, Luke leads First Light Projects with the same uncompromising standards, blending bespoke craftsmanship, architectural excellence and sustainable building practises to create homes that area truly one of a kind.
